Shouyou froze, though his thighs wouldn’t stop twitching and he couldn’t control his breathing. Bokuto would only need to look past Barnes’s shoulder to see Shouyou slumped against Atsumu’s chest, panting, legs spread wide, presenting himself to the entire team.

Atsumu realized that sharing an apartment with his old crush was probably the worst idea ever if he wanted to avoid catching feelings again.

“Well, he’s taking on a lot of responsibilities this year,” Shoyo retorted, and his explanation seemed to be something he had told himself at least a couple of times before. “That’s to be expected, right?”
It was to be expected: after all, those who aimed to become professional athletes understood that a career like that came with a lot of sacrifices.
Still, Atsumu saw that as an opportunity, so he took it.
“Nah,” Atsumu texted him back, “I mean, my schedule is also pretty packed, but if you were my boyfriend, Shoyo-kun, I’d always find time for ya!”
In a moment of loneliness, Hinata Shoyo crossed the lines between a simple friendship and something more—and who was Atsumu to deny him anything?
