She doesn’t turn back to face you, but it’s fine. You know other ways to grab her attention.
You are you, and so you are callous, manipulative, and your words- “Like where the Kid is.” A pause. “Where Bonnie is.”

The show’s over, the curtains have fallen, and the cast members have taken the stage for their final bows. Loop is not an actor, not a director, merely a sponsor. Loop does not take the stage. Loop fades.
Loop fades, and the Universe is not nearly kind enough to take them into its gentle hands, is not nearly kind enough to put them out of their misery, is not nearly kind enough to set them free.
Loop doesn’t fade. The loops end, the world doesn’t, and so who is Loop without the loops?
(aka, loop finds themself in bambouche, petronille unfreezes, and the inevitability of reunion hangs over them both)

Martin pressed the handle and slipped inside, sighing as he closed the door after himself.
"Do you mind if I stay here for a while?" he asked, fully aware it sounded closer to 'for god's sake, just let me sit here'. "I can tell Tim and Sasha are trying to make normal conversation or carefully broach the subject, so you can cut the awkwardness with a knife, and- I had to get out for a while. But there isn't anywhere else to go, exactly, with… them in the document storage. And you… you're in it too, at least."

Summary
The blood moon rises over Scott's castle. Chickens cease their endless clucking, hopping onto perches to sleep and hope they aren't the next ones taken. Cow bones lie abandoned along the courtyard, discarded along with the bloodless husks of their owners. Bats flutter away into the woods in search of insects to eat. All the living things in the old Goldsmith Castle are there by force.
Apo is a dead thing in the dark dreaming she's alive, and has nothing in common with them.
She has a lot in common with Pyro, though. At the beginning, back before she made a devil's deal, they'd bonded over finding Truffle. That had been a beautiful time, a time when Apo had begun to think this might not be so bad. A time when her biggest problem was that her supposedly abandoned outpost would have tourists in it who wouldn’t shut the fuck up about vampires and Bigfoot, and she could send letters to Cherri without lying. A time when she could stand to send letters to Cherri at all.
