    Joseph si era dovuto trasferire a Venezia a causa dell’università. Non aveva mai particolarmente brillato nel proprio liceo, eppure la facoltà di medicina lo interessava da anni; aveva dato anima e corpo allo studio per il test d’ingresso e finalmente era stato assegnato a una delle facoltà che preferiva di più.

    Aveva scelto di trasferirsi al posto di viaggiare per due ore in treno ogni giorno, e sua madre non aveva avuto difficoltà ad accordargli questa richiesta, sebbene preoccupata per la sua improvvisa solitudine e richiesta di indipendenza. “Farò attenzione” aveva promesso con un sorriso dolce, ricevendo dalla donna un bacio affettuoso sulla guancia.

    Si era occupato lui stesso di trovare un coinquilino con il quale dividere il piccolo appartamento a qualche kilometro di distanza dall’università, ma ciò che aveva omesso di comunicare a sua madre era il fatto che non aveva mai effettivamente incontrato il ragazzo. L’unica cosa che sapeva di lui era che avrebbe frequentato il primo anno di medicina; attraverso brevi messaggi su Instagram, si erano presentati come Joseph Joestar e Caesar Zeppeli, e tanto bastava.

    "Take what— Giorno— What the fuck are you doing?" Fugo said, exasperated, utterly confused, with several questions racing through his mind. Why did Giorno break in through the window? Could he not have come in through the door? Didn't he fucking live here? Fugo was incredibly disoriented.

    "Taking the one chance I have!" Giorno announced as he pressed his face forward, close enough to breathe in Fugo's own air. "I want to have sex with you."
