Caesar has always had a crush on Joseph, ever since fifth grade, but never wanted to admit he was gay, so he always simply thought of it as just 'bros being bros', and found himself getting with random girls he never liked to satisfy his need to be straight.
Joseph, however, is the exact opposite. He knew the moment he layed eyes on Caesar Zeppeli in first grade he was gay, and wasn't ashamed of it either. He knew Caesar was straight, or at least Caesar had gotten rather angry when he was assumed to be anything other then straight, but he couldn't help but to have the biggest crush on Caesar.
Joseph was very obvious about his crush too, everyone besides Caesar could tell he always had heart eyes for the blonde, always demanding kisses and hugs and to hold hands, and always getting flustered when Caesar would accidentally call him petnames. It was most obvious whenever Caesar had hookups though, Joseph not talking to Caesar for a week and acting pouty if he did talk to Caesar when it happened, always insisting he wasn't jealous to his friends.
Joseph finally confesses when he gets drunk after finding out about one of Caesar's hookups. Caesar confesses too.
