Summary
When Efra learned about Ryder´s retaking of the Salarian Ark, he would be the last to openly admit he was impressed. When he learned she died to get out of a stasis field, he would be the last to openly tell her how irresponsible she was, and how infuriatingly casual she was about and AI killing her. He would also be the last to admit his relief that she was alive, and his worry about her current state.
So when Jaal tells him she will be at the lake later that day, he decides to go.
Because despite what she and many other people might think, he was not heartless, and understood her struggle more than anyone.

Summary
Jaal loved learning about humans. He loved learning about Sara. But there are hints of a different side to her, and he's determined to explore and discover all of it.
This night was about her pleasure, not his. He had to use all his willpower to stand up straight and yank her back by her hair- and for a moment he was afraid he had done it too hard. But she looked up at him with an expression of pure lust and love, a cheeky grin on her lips as she wiped the corner of her mouth with the back of her hand. So, he leaned down close enough to place a soft kiss on the spot behind her ear- forcing her head to the side in the process.

Summary
It's not uncommon knowledge that Alvin is not always the best at dealing with the sensitive side of the human body. One might say it was quite the opposite.
He loathes these gut wrenching nerves that nestle inside of him and crawl over his skin. They render his mind completely immobile, incapable of anything else but feel what they do to him. What Jude does to him. What he does to Jude and what that does to him. He’s creating a mess and all he can seem to do is sit there in the middle of it.
Or, he can kiss him.

Summary
Emil had grown immensely in both body and spirit. No longer small and frail he now stood tall and proud, with his sleeves rolled up and arms crossed. His arms were stronger and his muscles more defined, but it was never bulgy, never too unlike Emil. But he still wears an apron during cooking, and nowadays even a hair band. Richter is just glad he still has to bend down to kiss him.

There's a lot more to Gaius than meets the eye. Anyone who is in the presence of him for more than one day knows this, but few know more. A King he may look to be, but he has a collection of stretched out hair ties, he's terrified of moths, and is too emotionally attached to a cat. He's quite the person really.

Though Jaal has always had a bit of a crush on Evfra, their affair starts out as little more than a pleasurable distraction for both of them. It was never supposed to be more than that, but feelings are not, in the end, so easily controlled.

Summary
“A man like Grindelwald has no real love for anyone other than himself,” Graves says, pouring tea into each of the mugs. “He’s capable of caring for someone, but only for as long as they’re useful to him.”
The words hit Credence like a physical blow. He knows their truth, but the memories of slow touches and gentle words still linger. This man is so much like the Mr. Graves he knew before-- still brusk, still self-assured to the point of arrogance, but with a vein of dry humor where only darkness lurked before. He still sets Credence’s heart pounding, and Credence wonders if he got what he deserved for his sins.
Or, in which Credence goes looking for the man who betrayed him, but finds someone else altogether.

Credence feels as if he’s been swallowed by some huge, cavernous thing, as if a pit in the hollow of his chest is eating him from the inside out.
It’s not him. It’s not Grindelwald. It’s just – just Graves, just a man alone in his kitchen drinking whiskey after a nightmare, staring at his own bare feet.

Credence swore he could hear the ticking of the clock in his bedroom all the way across the apartment, for how silent everything was in the breaths between Percival’s words.
“What does that say about me?” Percival asked then, voice barely above a whisper.
(In which Grindelwald leaves Graves with scars much deeper than anyone else can see, and Credence is more observant than anyone gives him credit for.)
