Taggie mesmerises Rupert when she appears for a intimate dinner before their wedding, a canter through various snapshots of Rupert and Taggie's story
Fluff with a bit of lust, groping and sex.. Wedding plans, wedding nerves, wedding, honeymoon, snapshots of life, pregnancy, baby.....not sure where it will travel to.
I have read all the books since they first started. Long wanted to see it brought successfully to the screen, true to the original characters and this with a few gripes is an amazing effort. Getting RCB and Taggie right were always going to be key.

Summary
Have re-read the main RuTag books (Riders Rivals Polo and Appassionata I will write a few fics to drop into gaps in the Canon aligning in context of books.
This first chapter would be at the end of Rivals (post proposal) and pre-wedding (Polo), which is by my estimation when Rupert and Taggie would first finally go to bed together, although the books don't address this specifically. Consequently a bit more explicit than most of what I write.
Later chapters slot into later points in the cannon.

Following their marriage, Darcy plans a surprise ball to celebrate Elizabeth's 21st Birthday at Pemberley. This crosses with Elizabeth discovering she is carrying their first child. A wide cast of cameos from Georgiana, various Bennet's, Colonel Fitzwilliam, Lady Catherine....etc

Summary
Elizabeth is close to delivering her and Darcy's child, but the passage of pregnancy and the expectations of Darcy, his family and convention in the Georgian era does not always sit well with her. I recommend "In the Family Way Childbearing in the British Aristocracy 1760-1860" by Judith Schneid Lewis which is a fascinating source of information that I drew on.

And it’s not running away, even if it feels like it. Even if they left the Priory cloaked in darkness. Skipping the creaking stair, trailing her fingers across the worn oak banister, knowing she’ll be back but it won’t be the same.

Set 5 days after their kiss...
Taggie has been moping around the Priory, wondering where Rupert has disappeared to and if he regretted kissing her. She tries her hardest to keep her mind occupied by busying herself with chores, but she can't stop thinking about him.
~ It was during that dance to The Lady in Red that she felt seen. Understood. She felt like she had known Rupert for much longer than what she had. Almost like she had always known him and had waited for him. Somewhere deep in her soul, she knew that she had always loved him and always will. It felt like all of time had stopped moving and nothing else had ever been and all she ever knew was right there in his eyes.
________________________________~ It’s been 2 weeks since Rupert last saw her, and the ache in his chest has only intensified with each passing day. Every morning, he wakes with the ghost of her laughter echoing in his mind, the warmth of her smile still vivid in his memory. He can picture her angelic face as she gazes at him. He feels as if he left a piece of himself with her, his heart, nestled securely in the palm of her hand. He did. He knows he did.
Where could he possibly be and what happens when he finally returns?
