Summary
A quiet sister as part of a clergy which was attacked by a horde of demons, killing everyone she's ever held dear was the last thing she anticipated. If it weren't for a demon-hunter and his friend, she, too, would be dead. What she thought would be a short, dark period of her life instead turned out to be a bad omen in disguise, as the demons who came after her left their mark--attracting more demons to her non-stop. With only one company to turn to, she has no choice but to work with the half-demon man-child in order to figure out what's going on behind the scenes.
As the events of Devil May Cry 5 unfold, Genevieve becomes entangled in a conspiracy stretching back to Sparda's rebellion, an ancient ritual, and a demon imprisoned for millennia. A bit of a slow-burn romantic comedy with Dante, who's slowly realizing that his age is catching up to him, learning that maybe he does want a bit more from life than what he's been working with all along.
