There was a distinct pinch in between Giorno’s eyebrows, tightening like a bowstring. It shot outwards, spiking white-hot pain behind his eyes. Something incoherent escaped Giorno’s mouth before he punched out a groan, cradling his head in his hand.
“Hey, hey.” Mista brought a hand to his shoulder, taking a closer look at his face. Crimson bled high on his cheeks, a feverish lustre gathering over his skin like a film. He brought his hand up to Giorno’s forehead—Hot and balmy. “You're burning up like crazy! How long have you had a fever?”
“Mm… I don’t know…”

Once the bewilderment (that might have been pure dismay) subsided, the blond arched an elegant eyebrow. Fuck, Guido was sure he was going to hear about it for hours tonight. There was no way Giorno was ever letting him live it down.
And it sure took a very long time (and a lot of the French pastries she had brought) for Trish to stop cackling like a maniac.

Mista nods excitedly. “Yeah, exactly like that! That’s exactly how you would say it when you confess to them!”
A silence passed as Mista’s enthusiasm becomes dampened by the realization that this was the only time Giorno would ever say those words to him. Also, by the way Giorno looks like he’s dying internally. It’s not a good look on him.
