Summary
Yang could feel a heat growing low in her belly as she shot through the final Beowulf, the beast collapsing to the ground dissipating into black flecks. She's worked up more than usual, feels like she could take three packs of Sabyr's by herself. It's a sure sign her rut will be coming in the next few days, which also means Blake's heat would arrive at about the same time.
Since Salem had been defeated, they'd gone off their suppressants, something helpful for war but could seriously mess with their biology if taken for too long. It was curious though, Blake always took a couple days off before it started, leaving Yang to partner up with Weiss and Ruby. Yang had asked about it once, only to receive pinned ears and Blake shrinking in on herself.
After that she hadn't brought it up again, after all they'd been through she trusted Blake. Trusted if she needed something, she'd ask.

"Blake, I don't want to hurt you." Yang mutters, a warm hand gently caressing her cheek, "I never want to hurt you."
"Yang, you won't. I want this." She insists.
This is a road they've been down before, Yang's innate instinct to protect Blake always leaves her pulling away whenever Blake decides to return the favor.
It's starting to get ridiculous and, if she were being honest, a bit irritating.
Yang bites her lip, sitting on the edge of bed, back towards Blake. She just watches for a moment, watches the way that broad back that always protects her, takes hits for her slumps forward. It makes her look almost fragile, sending a pang of guilt through Blake.
"Baby," Blake's hand is light on Yang's shoulder, muscles underneath tensing before immediately relaxing. "Is this something you're that stressed about? If so I'll drop it but," Her hand moves to Yang's jaw, gently pulling her face towards Blake's, "I really do want this, want you in any way you'll let me have you."

The Faunus wanted to make a sarcastic remark before Yang smirked and turned up the vibrator. Clutching the sides of the table, she let out a shuddered breath.

Of course the universe has different ideas.
Yang had just settled onto the couch with her dinner of instant ramen when her phone lit up, a new message from her very best friend Blake Belladonna. A friend she may have a tiny crush on, but Blake's in a relationship with Sun, who Yang may also have a tiny crush on. Maybe that's why the text across her screen had her choking on her noodles, eyes wide.
