“Taehyung-ssi has been summoned to court,” the captain explains calmly, and that shuts Yoongi up.
“Summoned to court?” Yoongi repeats, switching his gaze between Captain Park and Taehyung in confusion. “Like … the royal court?”
“Yes,” Captain Park confirms, and Taehyung’s mouth drops open. That can’t be right, right? No one from their end of the city has ever been allowed to even step foot on the island, nevertheless enter the royal palace.
“You … you want me to go to the palace?” Taehyung whispers, and Captain Park nods once more.
“Yes, as I said. And we need to go now, they’re waiting for you. You’ve been chosen.”
