Summary
After HYDRA reemerges with new technology stolen from Tony Stark, General Ross agrees to extend amnesty to Steve and the others. He's hesitant to include Bucky until he hears that Bucky is now a married man trying to start a family. The problem? Bucky is still in hiding in Wakanda, and he definitely isn't married. Natasha searches for and finds the perfect candidate for his fake wife in Darcy Lewis, who doesn't need much convincing. Steve has a harder time talking Bucky into this charade. Can Bucky and Darcy pull off a fake marriage without actually falling in love? Can Bucky build a friendship with Tony that can overcome their past? And what is Ross really up to?

Summary
Steve is coping with the deaths of half the universe by not dealing with it at all. Darcy is desperately searching for Thor in hopes he can shed some light on what happened and why all of her family, including her best friend Jane, disappeared a few months ago. When their paths cross, they try to find something other than numbness in each other. Maybe wild sex in the stairwell and a public bathroom isn't the healthiest way of dealing with trauma, but it's all they're capable of while trying to bring back everyone they lost.

Summary
The Winter Soldier doesn't know why he pulled that man from the river, but he doesn't really have time to give it much thought because he's surrounded by law enforcement and HYDRA, both of which want him dead or captured. His best bet to escape D.C. is the woman talking on the phone at the far end of an office parking lot a few miles from the helicarrier crash sight. Darcy Lewis did not plan on getting carjacked after a long day at her soul-crushing new job, and she definitely didn't plan on the guy doing it being this mentally unstable and hot as hell.
This fic picks up where Captain America: the Winter Soldier left off and continues into the beginning of Civil War. I wanted to explore how the Winter Soldier and Darcy would interact, explore how Bucky finds himself again after he escapes HYDRA control, and explore an alternate universe in which Darcy changes the course of events in Civil War.
