(I stink at summaries.)
Midoriya gets a quirk, and he and Bakugo decide to become a hero duo together, but Bakugo seems to be growing more and more mean. Not to Midoriya but to everyone else. Midoriya puts up with it for as long as he can, trying his best to see the best in Bakugo, but what pushes him over the edge is Bakugo bullying a quirkless girl in his grade. Midorya, after saving the girl, denounces Bakugo's friendship with Bakugo and makes new plans to be a hero with her.

Quirks are really cool. There's so many different ones and there are so many opportunities to create new quirks. So I spent a very long time just creating quirk ideas off the top of my head. The original quirks are of my own design with some influences that will be credited. These are all free use, so if you want to use one of these quirks, that's fine by me :D
Inspiration from NotMasonPines and their work, Quirk: Catalogue. Activation requirements and Effects are heavily inspired by him.
Each chapter is its own quirk. While it makes for shorter chapters, it makes up for with a cleaner presentation.

“This is super cliche, actually.”
“I need you to shut up,” Hitoshi says.
“You think they have cameras? Like you know, Saw type of shit? Are they watching us?” the criminal squints at the ceiling corners, his handcuffs rattling as he shifts in his seat. “Oh my god, what if they’re live-streaming this to some sick fucks on the dark web or something?"
Detective Shinsou Hitoshi is trapped in a room with a criminal. One of them has to die.

Summary
He’s okay with it, really, he is. It hurts a little, sure, not having a party like rest of the kids his age, but at that point, Izuku’s just used to it. He’s accepted it. Accepted that he probably won’t ever have friends and won’t ever have a birthday party again. People are just meant to disappoint him.
That’s fine. As much as Izuku wants a party, as much as he wants friends to clap him on the back and give him presents, as much as he wants to walk home to a darkened room before everyone jumps out and yells surprise and flicks the light on and as much as he wants the companionship and trips to the arcade with friends everyone his age has, he’s fine with not having one. It's fine.
He's fine.
