Annie loved him, she did. But this is not what she imagined her life would be like all those years ago when they first met. It had felt like a romance movie back then, something straight off of the hallmark channel.
Not so much anymore.
Not when bloody noses made her spiral into a panicked frenzy, and she could hardly sleep at night until she knew he was off the streets. Not when she felt like her life was in an endless cycle of smoke and beer and crying behind closed doors. This wasn’t how her life was supposed to be.

Sam doesn’t even understand why it bothers Dean so much. For some reason that makes it so much worse.

Sam kept insisting that their father was acting weird, but Dean hadn't seen a problem. So what if he was acting a bit nicer than usual? Yeah, he kept trying to separate them, and he hadn’t wanted Dean to come along on the hunt in the first place, but he hadn’t thought it was that weird.
Looking back on it, Dean knew he should have listened to Sam.

“Something’s wrong with dad.” Sam said so quietly that Dean could hardly hear it. There was a hint of fear in his baby brother’s voice that he didn’t know what to do with.
“Why? Cause he’s being nice?” Dean huffed. Sam could be so dramatic.
“No- that’s not…” the small voice trailed off. “Something’s not right. I- I don’t know…”
“He’s just in a good mood, there’s nothing wrong with that.” Dean shrugged. “It’s not anything to worry about. If something was up he’d tell me, I’m sure of it.”
And as the words came out of his mouth something in his stomach twisted. It felt like he was lying. But he wasn’t. There was no reason to worry.

When George moved back to Bristol, he was really nervous to have to go to a new high school and make new friends. He was never really good at making friends, he was more of the guy that got bullied.
However, somehow, and he had no idea how, he ended up befriending one of the most popular girls in school and the antisocial lone wolf. At first, he’s excited to be with his new friends and learn more about them. Now though, he begins to wonder if trying to get to know those two was more than he can handle.
