His pain for his friend had been his private pain, he didn’t think he deserves to openly grieve for that as he did for his brother.
He grieved now. He grieved for the one month of happiness they had been given before he had thrown it all away in a moment of anger. He grieved for all the pain he caused and for the life they could’ve had together.
