Viktor clearly requires lessons in basic wizarding etiquette if he's gonna insist on sneaking up on witches and wizards with functioning wands and a whole list of curses in their armoury. Truly, give Jayce's heart a break please! He's trying to practice for his interview with the Department of Mysteries.

Summary
Mage Viktor rescues infant Jayce when his mother dies and raises the boy as his own. He does not anticipate the intensity of Jayce's attachment, especially when it evolves into outright attraction.
Viktor cannot entertain a romance with his adopted son, but Jayce is determined to have him. The bigger he grows, the harder it becomes for Viktor to resist.

The command hits Viktor hard enough to make him shove himself upright on the bed, palms pressing into the blankets. His mouth moves before his senses can catch up.
“You do not get to tell me wh—”
Jayce reaches him in an instant. His hand clamps around Viktor’s face in a firm, controlled grip, thumb and fingers guiding his jaw open without effort. The sudden pressure pulls a soundless gasp from Viktor, surprise and heat mixing in a way that makes his entire body go taut. His thoughts scatter. His muscles loosen under the hold, pliancy pulling through him like the rug yanked from under his feet.
“Yes. I do.”

Viktor pads barefoot across the wooden floorboards of their bedroom, the faint creak familiar beneath his feet, and pushes the window open to let in the petrichor-scented air.
Jayce watches from the bed, the sheets pooled around his waist, one arm still extended where Viktor had been. “What’s it look like out there?”
“Wet,” Viktor says, leaning on the sill, taking in their little slice of the world. The field has become a shallow lake, the path to the road a ribbon of mud. A small brown bird darts from one bush to another, shaking water from its feathers. He watches it for a moment before adding, “Very wet. Peaceful, though.”
