The Dark Urge and Astarion had met once in the days leading up to the events of the Nautiloid. It was by pure happenstance that either of them ran into the other while hunting for their respective masters. Neither expected to run into another predator. A brief encounter that, in a days time, one will no longer have any memory of and the other will not care to recall in the wake of his bleak existence.

Summary
Vale wakes up on an alien ship hurtling through the Hells and being attacked by Githyanki dragon-riders. He has no memories, but he does have a parasitic mindworm, a voice urging him towards violence, and a creeping sense that something has gone horribly wrong. As if that wasn’t already obvious.
Astarion starts his day very strangely. For one, he’s not on the filthy kennel mattress and for another, he’s not being burnt to a crisp under the very bright, but beautiful sunlight. All in all, not a bad end to a kidnapping. Now that he's been given a chance to have his vengeance on his master, and to live a life of his choosing, all Astarion has to do is stay alive and gather allies he can use in his quest to kill Cazador.

Welcome to a fanfiction series of what is my playthrough of Vale, aka The Dark Urge, and Astarion. The dynamic between Astarion and the Durge is my favourite couple in this game and I thought it would be fun to try and translate it into a written story. Hope you enjoy!
