Summary
Have you ever wondered why the Rise Krang are so different from the other iterations? Why they're bigger, scarier-looking, and more violent? Have you ever wanted there to be more complexity to the Rise Krang, or even sympathetic depictions of them? Well this fanfic, which I wrote with brainstorm help from my friend @s_e_v_e_n_p_m, seeks to scratch that itch and answer that pressing question!
In this version of the TMNT Multiverse, the Krang as we know them in Rise aren't the ones in control, not really. They were infected just like the 'krang-zombies' were, and they were in fact the first victims of the Infection. The virus controls the mind and corrupts the body, turning the hosts into vehicles for spreading it, with no more freedom than puppets.
The Krang Trio(known here as Prime/Per'cii, Delta, and Beta) have been Infected for over 1000 years, and a spell done by the Turtles in an attempt to destroy them ends up freeing them instead. Together, the now-freed Krang and the Turtles work to free what's left of the Krang's world, and bring home all the Krang who fled to other universes to escape the Infection.

Summary
Mirabel Madrigal was sent away from the Encanto after her failed Gift Ceremony by Abuela Alma, and her parents didn’t protest or try to find her. When she was sent away, 5-year-old Mirabel got lost and stumbled onto some strange animal-people moving things through a glowing circle. She stumbled through the ‘circle’ while running away from the yokai, and wound up in the sewers of New York.
In the sewers, she was found by a turtle-person the same age as her, named Mikey. He brought her back to his family, who adopted her as one of their own after hearing her story. She grew up with the Turtles and Splinter and April as her family, far away from the toxicity of the Encanto. She became a ninja like her family, and fought the Shredder and the Kraang alongside them, and even gained powers through Hamato Ninpo when the others did!
Unfortunately, her past wouldn’t stay in the past forever, and she would have to confront her old family when she and her new family wound up in Columbia on the day of Antonio’s Gift Ceremony…

In an AU of the Bad Future Timeline, it's Leo who dies, not Donnie. After his twin's death, Donnie snaps, becoming as dark as everyone always jokes he would. In his grief, he decides that he needs to get Leo back and protect him, even if it means taking over the whole past world to destroy any threats to his brother. Michelangelo's time portal gives him this opportunity, and he travels to the past with his nephew Casey Jones Jr, intent on remaking the world in his image and getting his twin back, no matter the cost.
This one gets dark people! Like really dark! it's basically "what if Future!Donnie lost his twin and it caused him to snap and become a Supervillain"
