Summary
“Padawan Kenobi is damaged, but not destroyed.
He is in pain, yes, and he is not well.
In the span of two years, he has suffered a life-changing injury; shouldered more pain and physical discomfort than some of us have experienced in our many years; and carried an incredibly heavy grief. However, in spite of that pain and suffering, the child has not shown weakness; he has shown strength, and resilience.”“Well then, Master Dooku, what do you want this Council to do?”
Dooku wants to offer him hope, just as his friend was able to do two years ago.
(This is a story in which Obi-Wan Kenobi is taken as a padawan three times before he reaches 11 years old.
First, by a childhood friend of Dooku's, who offers hope to an injured, discouraged youngling.
Second, by Pong Krell, who adds more pain and suffering to the life of an already grieving and hurt little boy.

Summary
There was a tug on Obi-Wan's robes. He startled and looked down into a pair of the biggest, bluest eyes he'd ever seen. There was a tiny orange Togruta youngling at his feet, barely coming up to his knees, with stubby blue-and-white lekku framing her face. She whimpered, eyes brimming with unshed tears, and held up two fat little arms in the universal request for up.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is minding his own business in the Temple when he's suddenly accosted by a wide-eyed Togruta toddler who doesn't speak a word of Basic. He's pretty sure she's hungry, though.

This is a story in which Obi-Wan Kenobi is only three years older than Anakin Skywalker.
In this story, Obi-Wan is destined to be a Jedi, but spends his early life as a slave, not joining the Order until age 12.
He is raised by Anakin’s parents in the desert sands of Tatooine.
He is a padawan first to Dooku, then to Qui-Gon Jinn.
He becomes a Jedi Knight, Jedi Master, and a general, all by age 22.
He is the Chosen One, and at an age far too young, he becomes known as the, “Sith Killer.”(NOTE: I have stopped using block quotes)
