Summary
“Ace Trappola, right?”
Ace doesn’t even notice someone is talking to him until they tap him right on the shoulder as he’s in conversation with Jamil and the rest of the basketball team - minus Floyd - about one of their practices next week. He turns a bit quicker than he’d like to admit, but upon not recognizing the boy that was trying to talk to him, he only crosses his arms and raises an eyebrow. “Um… can I help you? Are you new or something?”
“Oh!” The boy turns away. Ace pretends not to notice the boy’s cheeks turning a bit red. “My name is… Blaine. I’m a sophomore in Octavinelle, we haven’t met. Are you Ace Trappola?”
Ace turns his head back to Jamil, who shrugs but has a confused expression on. He looks back at the boy, looking him up and down before answering. “Uh, yeah. That’s me. What, did you want an autograph or something?”
