   Summary

   Juno grabbed the thief’s arm and dragged him out of the room. He only raised an eyebrow in response. “Why, detective, how forward of you.”

    

   “Cut it, Ransom, or whatever your name is.” Juno shoved a closet open and pulled him inside. “Why do you keep following me?”

   His eyes widened, but something about it seemed rehearsed, fake. Juno didn’t feel remorseful in the damn slightest. “I haven’t the slightest idea what you mean.”

   “Engstrom. Kanagawa. Even goddamn Morales.” His voice slipped into a growl. “You’ve been on my trail for weeks now, and I want to know why.”
