D-913 shuffled up to sweater-vest Rick, visibly shaken. The Morty cleared his throat before speaking. That didn’t stop his voice from cracking. “Uh, h-hello! I’m y-your new…” D-913 felt dizzy, like he might lose consciousness. The words tasted like poison in his mouth. “I’m your n-new Morty…”
"Heyyy, little buddy!" His new Rick practically chirped. The impatient frown on his face softened into an inviting smile. "I was starting to worry you weren't coming!" He extended a hand. "I'm Rick H-11."

Morty D-913 can't seem to catch a break. Abused by his original Rick, and ostracized in Morty School for letting him die, D-913 is terrified that being assigned a new Rick will only mean more suffering.
Weirdly, though, his new Rick seems almost… kind? It doesn't make sense—why would the Citadel assign him a good Rick after what he did to his first one?
Follow D-913 as he tries to move on from his original Rick, settle into his new life, and ignore several glaringly obvious red flags about this Rick's questionable relationship with his original Morty.
