The dim-lit elevator was empty but its mirror was not. Staring out from within the reflective wall, an office worker wore a strange expression. He tore his eyes away from the glowing "Floor 1" button and gazed at his hand. A pen-and-rubber contraption kept his index finger and thumb immobile.
"First floor. Doors opening."
Slowly, a smile spread across the face of the ghost mimicking Kim Soleum's appearance. Then, he turned around and walked out of the door.
Mirror Kim Soleum discovers a world beyond the elevator. Meanwhile, Baek Saheon grows increasingly unnerved by his roommate.

Decay, in Bodeul’s case, wasn’t filth or rot in the physical sense, but of emotional erosion. Stagnation wrapped in silk. Like the soft cocoon of an emerging butterfly, only this one had cowered away when the world’s truth peeked through the split in the cocoon. The whispers of safety if he’d hid a bit more had been too tempting. Why fly in a world defined by a law that chained everything to the ground?
Yet, as decay does, just as fire burns until it cannot, decay rots until there is nothing left to rot.

Yeah, at some point reading this, hearing how comforting it is (+ seeing his actual pov instead of the others) I had a joking thought that he wouldn't break it off until the last day because he liked it there and not because he didn't know, but seeing it confirmed is really cool.
