Summary
The phone call shook Dante awake from his half-asleep consciousness. He practically dove for the phone and put it to his ear, desperate for a mission. “Devil May Cry,” he sang. The other line was silent, but he could hear heavy breathing. After what felt like an hour, he heard the voice. “PlEAse!” He sat up straight. Something was entirely wrong here. The first thing he noted in the voice was that it was distorted. He could barely understand what it said.
“Hello? What’s wrong?” He tried asking the voice. “ForTUna,” it spoke again, and this time he could make out a female voice. “He’s nOT okay! HeLP uS!” The line ended, and Dante started yelling into the phone. “Hello? Hello! What’s wrong!”

Or Dante gets a strange and concering phone call from Fortuna three years after the 'Savior Incident' and decides to investigate. He runs into Vergil, who is heading to Fortuna for a different reason. Shit goes down.
