Summary
Cain has heard stories. Stories about an ex-assassin who decided to settle down and open a restaurant, an assassin who may or may not still be in the killing business to save money on cuts of meat. There’s a dark, predatory look in the rabbit’s eyes that reminds Cain more of a bigger animal like a crocodile or a wolf. Like a tiger got transplanted in a freak accident into a smaller, fuzzier body.
This is Brunel, a Belgian hare, and Cain, an English bull terrier, who ventures deep into the basement of a restaurant in the hopes of finding a lead on the kidnapping of his young niece.

Summary
Three men dead, slashed to pieces with a sword in a glitzy studio apartment by the beach.
Homicide investigator Roronoa Zoro and his partner Tashigi know who did it, but convincing the force to make an arrest is another story entirely.
When the police force reveals itself to be corrupt and cannot be trusted, Zoro is thrown into a hellish game of cat and mouse, trying to find the killer while the combined forces of the cops and the criminal underworld try to prevent the killer from facing justice.
Please mind the tags, this work contains themes of police violence which could be considered triggering, as well as heavy themes of grief, depression and death.

He had made his home in dilapidated ruins, surrounded by the death and decay of a fallen civilization, comforted by the vast and empty wasteland even as he grew to enjoy unexpected company.
Now, as Mihawk beaches Hitsugibune, its hull gliding over uneven sand and stone until coming to a full stop on the shore, he is confronted not with a gloomy and foreboding atmosphere but something else entirely.
