Summary
Freshly sixteen, Nico takes off on a ceremonial quest, one meant to prove to the kingdom that he would be able to take over the throne when King Hades, his father, was gone.
The issue? Nico has little desire to be king and even less motivation to do what's expected of him. Because while 'prove yourself capable of rule' was a vague task, Nico knew what his father and the kingdom expected from him. If Nico didn't return with a dead dragon, his quest would be regarded as a failure. Because his father had killed many dragons on his own quest when he was a boy, had deemed dragons and dragon shifters as the natural enemy of the Kingdom of Olympus, so it just made sense that his son would follow in his footsteps and do the same.
Or, it made sense to anyone who wasn't Nico, because he shared none of the hatred his father had for dragons and dragon shifters and expected his quest to result in disappointment from his father and the rest of the kingdom.
So when he left on his sixteenth birthday, he had no plan, and almost immediately injured himself. His savior is a stranger that soon becomes a dear friend.
And he also might be why Nico decides to openly defy his father.

Summary
Jean is a cynical asshole who has no friends, needs no one, and doesn't believe in love in any shape or form. Well, he has one friend, and he knows nothing about Jean's life. It's a good setting, enough for Jean. After all, he shamelessly takes his clothes off and dances for money (and if you pay enough, he'll do pretty much anything), and it doesn't exactly make a great conversation starter. "Hi, my name is Jean and I'm a stripper slash prostitute. I'm also pretty darn gay." Everything's good and nothing hurts until one day Jean is hired for a birthday party. A birthday party that consists of one person: Marco. As it turns out, it's just a big prank to embarrass Marco, since none of his friends actually know he's gay.
Marco is a blushing virgin (so Jean seems to think), as naïve and sweet as they come, and my god Jean can't stand it. But Marco is hypnotized by the younger guy, completely oblivious to Jean's snarky sarcasm and misanthropic view of the world. Hell, he's ready to pay good money just to see Jean.

Your name is John Egbert, demon hunter extraordinaire, well maybe not so extraordinary, and you currently have a sunglasses clad demon sitting on your couch eating fruit loops out of what you believe is a mixing bowl, and frankly you're a bit unsure of what to do next.

Summary
Jean Kirschtein is not entirely sure why they need someone to clean the pool when no-one ever seems to swim in the darn thing, but when his socialite mother just can't stop ogling the new pool boy, Jean realises she might not be the only one.
Apparently balancing a growing relationship with the freckled pool boy is harder than it looks, when coupled with a more than dysfunctional family life, a cheating scumbag for a father, and a seriously lonely existence.
An AU of equal measures fluff and angst featuring pool cleaning, roof-top smoking, lots of parental problems, and mainly shirtless Marco.
(Fic on indefinite hiatus.)

Summary
Marco felt slightly intrigued by him, despite the fact that he clearly had a bee up his ass and a fuck-off attitude. ”You’re in the same art class as me.” he said lamely.
”I would assume so, seeing as we just bumped into each other on the way out,” came the clipped response.
A mental image of himself digging a hole and then jumping into it passed through Marco's mind. Way to go Captain Obvious.
“T-totally.” Marco stammered. The man sighed - out of pity or just out of annoyance, Marco couldn’t tell - and tugged his leather jacket closer round his body. “Anyway, the name's Jean.”---
