Summary
Humans are born with a soul mate; for as long as both souls are alive on Earth, they are bound together by a red thread. It forms when the second soul mate is born, and it turns black when the first soul mate dies. No one can see these threads but the people attached to them.
In Hell, a mark will form on the skin of both soul mates the moment the second soul falls. Sinners can use these marks to find each other, but they seldom do. Having a soul mate is a weakness few can tolerate.
Vox has been looking for his soul mate his entire existence; Alastor has spent just as long running from his.

When Asmodeus stops by the Pride Ring to visit the Morningstars, the Vees are able to make a deal to host a pop-up shop of the incredibly popular Lust Ring establishment, Ozzie’s, bringing it to the Pride Ring for the first time.

Summary
A spur of the moment deal throws Vox and Alastor together in a plot to win the heart of the porn star Angel Dust. In the spirit of Cyrano de Bergerac Vox comes up with a plan to feed lines to Alastor so that the completely hopeless in romance Radio Demon can secure his beau.
As Alastor and Angel's relationship grows, Vox becomes all too aware of the problems in his own and before too long he's stuck between love and a demon contract in a game of Overlords
