Hannibal didn't have any sleep before Will was awake again. He'd completed all tasks he had around the house, had looked at his bite wound again—for no reason other than to look at it—and then lay down beside sleeping Will.
He felt the gaze on him in the dark. Then, Will's hand found his arm under the covers. Hannibal turned onto his side to face Will when the man wiggled himself closer.
"What do you need, Will?"
"I told you. What only you can give me."

This takes place at an unspecified moment in season 2: BSHCI had happened and ended with Will cleared of suspicions, of the illness, and of his suppressants. But his meds were never the point. The point was that he was finally with a completely clear mind.Will follows the Honeytrap concept, but Mizumono can never come to be now. Because Will is the first one to leave a permanent scar.

"How about you go and sleep at mine," Robby says, getting a curious rise of eyebrows as a reaction from Jack. The man now fully turns to face him. "Get some proper rest, then cook us dinner—"
"Uh huh?"
"If you can't sleep," Robby continues, "do some vacuuming around the bedroom."
"Huh."
"And when I get home, you can have your reward. For being a good attending," he finishes before he can have the time to rethink it and stop his mouth from letting the words out.Jack Abbot is having a good week. Robby is not having a bad one. They come together for another hand-off, another day. Or, it would have been another day if they didn't stick together like two velcro pieces, unwilling to part.

The hours in the days that follow are marked by the sunlight, and then lack thereof. Then sleep. Shower. The periods of travel are divided by the breaks when he becomes too hungry to keep going like a wind-up toy.
He'd thought he would be existing by the established shift rhythm. 8 am, 10 am, 2 pm. Hand-off.
But no. Truly, some sort of string had been cut off, somewhere between taking the bike away from the hospital parking spot and reaching the first hotel. It isn't exactly a relief, even if his body thinks it is.
Robby leaves on his Sabbatical alone, with plans. Except, technically, he's not alone. He just doesn't know it yet. No one does.

A mix of mythological and light urban fantasy AU. Hannibal is himself, Will is not in FBI but instead is a legally protected species of monster living on his own with his dogs in Wolf Trap. They meet. Will is not impressed, Hannibal is bespelled.
