“This man tried to kill you, Sire!” The guard who had attacked Tango hopped up onto the stage, causing it to groan terribly; the poor thing probably not used to supporting so many people.
The stranger cocked his head to the side, and Tango watched as his curls bounced with the motion.
“Did he?” He asked, voice laced with ill-disguised curiosity as he looked down at himself.
“-I seem remarkably unharmed considering.”
The guard flushed pink.
“Well- No, but- but he was planning to!”
“Was he now?”
He turned to address Tango, one eyebrow cocked in interest.
“-Were you?”
“No!”
“See?” The blonde threw his arms wide casually.
“-Let the man down, dammit.”
