Summary

In a heartbeat, Jaime falls in love with her, but why is Tywin Lannister so adamant to keep his son away from her?

“Oh, you fucking genius!” Cersei shouted.
The road was blocked. A tree had fallen in the middle of nowhere because of the storm. Against the car’s windscreen, the rain was beating heavily, the windshields trying to wipe away the large teardrops. It came down in a buzzing roar, while the wind was whispering unintelligible words.
The storm irked Cersei, more than the fact she was about to give birth. It scared her, and what scared Cersei made her restless. Restless like the little girl she had been, trying to find shelter in Tywin Lannister’s bed, but all her Father had told her that night was that a true lioness shouldn't be scared of such futility, before sending her back to her bedroom. She had echoed those words in her head, like a mantra, almost like a prayer, hidden under the blankets, warm tears dripping down her cheeks, until the door had swung open and revealed Jaime. Her big brother, fierce and valiant, had come to comfort her, as if a part of him had known what she had been feeling. The solace he had provided made her love him even more.
Or; a storm is raging when Cersei is about to give birth.
