Summary
Unable to take the screams anymore, Kiyoomi stepped out from his hiding place in an act of self-sacrifice, demanding that the bandits stop. As the only omega in the party – and the only royal, he knew he was worth so much more than the rest.
An argument ensued, some declaring it would be risky to kidnap a prince, others stating he could be worth something as ransom. A sword is pressed to his throat and he lowered himself to his knees, silently praying they would spare him.
The last thing he saw before a dirty sack was thrust over his head was a head of sandy blond hair and brown lidded eyes that looked at him almost guiltily.

Kiyoomi can’t help the small, shy smile that tugs at his lips, even as he huffs to cover the flutter in his chest. “You’re so damn sappy, you know that?”
Atsumu chuckles, pressing a soft kiss to Kiyoomi’s neck that sends warmth spreading down to his toes. “Maybe I am,” he murmurs against his skin, “but it’s worth it. I like you too fuckin’ much to care if I’m bein’ a little embarrassin’.”
Their first vacation together leads to another first.

Did Atsumu want to go further? To try something new? Kiyoomi would - if he asks, if he made a move while looking at him with those big honey brown eyes. He thinks he’d do a lot if it was with Atsumu - just Atsumu.
The idea of doing any of this - kissing, sleepovers, touching - with anyone else felt wrong, not quite right, like he wanted to scratch and scratch and scratch until that uncomfortable itch went away.
Yeah.
Just Atsumu. Only him.
Kiyoomi’s first time visiting Hyogo results in a lot more firsts.

Summary
Ever since Atsumu was little, a lot had been expected of him— to present as an alpha, to inherit his father's position as the next shogun, and to rule over Japan with an iron fist. Hopes and dreams were irrelevant and had no place in his life. They were nothing but distractions.
But when Sakusa Kiyoomi, his promised mate, who seemed to be nothing more than a puppet of the adults, entered his life and began to slowly but surely throw everything upside down, Atsumu started to hope that maybe, just maybe, the gods didn't completely hate him.
