Summary
Green eyes met terrifying red ones. The rest of the persons face was covered by a beautifully crafted green mask. One side was splashed in red.
A large, slender hand wrapped itself around his upper arm and pulled gently.
"Come on, little one. Hide and seek is over." The voice had a reassuring tone to it, but there was also a note of authority. Harry shook his head frantically and another tear rolled down his cheek.Harry's life is turned upside down after he is the only survivor of a terrorist attack. Luckily for him, at the same time a dangerous individual happens to take an interest in him and fate ensures that there are plenty of encounters between them.
Except that Harry has no luck and fate has nothing to do with it.

Now everyone believes him, but he still isn't excused from the tournament. Almost on the point of wanting to give up on his magic, Death interferes because Death's chosen child can't lose his magic.

Harry nods. He suspected something like that. ''Then I will go with you to train. It is only fair. The others are older and have more experience.''
''Harry, no!'' Dumbledore exclaims, but Harry knows it is too late. Death is already grasping his arm, and then everything turns dark around him.

Dumbledore’s train when he dies brings him to an alternate universe with Tom Riddle asking for the defense post. There, he rights his wrongs and hires Tom Riddle as a Defense Professor to keep him from becoming Voldemort. It works. (Mostly.) Canon!Harry does the same unintentionally when he is a Firm Adult and stumbles into this AU Hogwarts hoping to teach defense. He cannot bc Tom. There is only teaching one spot available: Muggle Studies. Chaos ensues as Muggle Studies becomes everyone’s favorite class and gains a reputation as the most difficult course at Hogwarts. Tom Riddle is enraged, concerned, and… turned on?
