Summary
Sylvain is dating the most eligible bachelor in Faerghus, and living his best life -- aside from all the existential dread about his future, that is. There are just four rules to their relationship; easy enough, right?
Rule one: They have to be faithful to each other, no matter how much Sylvain misses burying his face in a nice pair of tits.
Rule two: They have to come to each other first if they're struggling with their myriad mental health issues, instead of even worse self-destructive vices.
Rule three: They have to meet at least three times a week, preferably more -- nightmares notwithstanding.
And finally their fourth and most important rule: They do not, under any circumstances, ask about each other's trauma. Who wants to get bogged down with all that lame shit anyways? It's not like it'll fester until Sylvain has a panic attack when he receives a letter from his father telling him to deal with his abusive brother; and oh by the way can he retrieve the family fucking heirloom from him too while he's at it?
Nah. That would never happen. Better to just have his guts rearranged by his boyfriend again instead of thinking about it.
