Summary
The back of the quinjet is cramped and humid, Steve’s fingers and gloved palm stretched over his head to hold onto the ceiling rail. They’re face to face now, chests touching a bit each time the jet trembles with turbulence, and Steve wishes that his helmet didn’t still leave him so exposed.
Bucky's thumb presses in, right between two buckles on Steve’s suit where there’s only a single layer of fabric separating skin from skin, his breath falling hot over Steve’s cheek when his lips part.
“You wearin’ ‘em?”
He stares hard at the broad curve of Bucky’s shoulder and exhales slow, controlled.
“Yes.”

Summary
Steve Rogers would be the first to tell you he's had it rougher than some but better than most. His job at the coffee shop lets him do his art, work with his best friend, take care of his ma, and ogle the muscular mechanics at the local auto-body shop. His health and his love life could be better, but he's very aware of how lucky he is to have it this good. Oh, and live in Brooklyn. Simple life, simple pleasures.
Is it really so much to ask to be able to get across the street in one piece? Apparently.
Before he knows it, Steve finds himself on a collision course with every hotrod coming out of the lot, with the quiet but hunkalicious new hire at the body shop, and with... well, romance.

Steve’s staring at the back of the headrest in the car that’s taking him towards his doom. He can’t believe this is really happening. He’s trying to tell himself there’s still a fleeting chance of escape when he gets to the Alpha’s apartment but who the hell is he kidding? Steve’s been told all his life that he’s a stubborn idiot, but even he wasn’t quite that stupid. He’s being taken there by two huge enforcers, he’s tiny, and the Alpha’s likely gonna be big as well. Eurgh. No chance of escape. Steve quakes. This whole thing is just disgusting. God, he hopes the Alpha’s not too old.
