    Following his arrest in Sumeru, despite being the sixth of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, Scaramouche is given a second chance at life. Abandoned by the Tsaritsa and the Fatui, he is given the choice between life in prison or the new identity of "Wanderer".
    As he enters Kamisato High under strict surveillance, the young boy's only wish is to be left alone. But boredom hits, and he can't help himself from stirring up trouble...
    Enters Kazuha, his sociable and soft-spoken classmate, who is soon to become a major annoyance in his life. Between dubious relatives and kind strangers, a dangerous fistfight and gentle moments of unwanted friendship, the irritable Wanderer can't help but be swayed by foreign emotions.
