Shen Qingqiu forces his eyes to meet Luo Binghe’s. “Anything.”
“I already have your life,” Luo Binghe says idly. “You don’t have much more to give, do you?”
Shen Qingqiu blinks placidly. “I’m sure you can think of something.”
Luo Binghe smiles slowly, looking almost vulpine. “Of course, I can. In fact, I know what I want from you, Shen Qingqiu.”
He doesn’t want to imagine what depravity lurks in Luo Binghe’s mind. He inclines his head, skin itching at the contact with Luo Binghe, and waits.
When Shen Qingqiu's life is in his hands, Luo Binghe asks for something Shen Qingqiu thought he'd given away long ago-- his loyalty.

Summary
He would have thought Shen Jiu would have relaxed a little; Luo Binghe has been gone overseas for two weeks and has only just returned. Absence of your hated mentee turned eventual hated boss makes the heart grow fonder or whatever. But Shen Jiu is as wound up as ever, staring a hole into the lit up button for the twenty fifth floor.
"Miss me?” Luo Binghe asks out of the corner of his mouth. He tips his head just enough to see Shen Jiu’s sour expression, and waits for the acidic barb. The thought of it makes him grin, and Shen Jiu’s face grows dark.
The elevator dings, announces the twenty fifth floor. The doors slide open to Shen Jiu’s floor and Luo Binghe turns his head in anticipation of watching Shen Jiu leave.
The doors slide shut, and Shen Jiu remains.

“What?” Shen Jiu snaps, terse. “Speak clearly.”
“I said,” Luo Binghe hisses back, as if it’s somehow Shen Jiu who’s got his back up against the wall. “I need you to pretend to be my husband this weekend.”
Shen Jiu has barely processed the words and their meaning before he’s laughing - a sharp, ugly bite of sound. “Absolutely not.”

The holidays are tough on everyone. Luo Binghe is going home for Christmas, and he desperately needs a date. Somehow, this involves his hated ex-professor.
