“Ben!” she shouts, and pulls him from his rambling. He opens his eyes and her face is crowding his field of vision. Despite himself, he smiles when he sees her, and leans towards her fractionally.
“Yeah?”
“We can talk about it, but only if you calm down,” she says, and touches his cheek gently. He can feel her hand shake.
