Devi woke up abruptly, after a sharp pain shot up her back, as her baby girl kicked her twice hard in the back. "Ouch" she groaned quietly into her pregnancy pillow, trying not to wake Paxton and reach towards the night stand to grab her phone and check the time 4:45 A.M. I was way too early to be awake on a lazy Sunday. Yet, here she was wide awake with a pain in her back, her baby doing what felt like flips and her stomach growling.

Generally, Ben likes being human.
Despite rolling with a pack of were-whatevers, he's never really wanted The Bite. He's got enough issues without adding a supernatural sense of smell into the mix, and randomly growing claws would accomplish nothing aside from undoubtedly ruining his expensive clothes on a regular basis. Besides, someone needs to be there to cross lines of mountain ash. So yeah, being human is usually pretty dope.
Except for when he gets kidnapped. Then it is not so dope.
