Summary
The surprised look on Bubba's face caught Poe off guard. "That book?" Bubba walked over to one of the shelves, searched along one of the rows of books, and then pulled a dark blue bound book out. Bubba held it up for Poe to see and said, "This is the one, correct?"
Amazingly, it was. Written in faded silver letters was the title Beneath the Silent Crypt. Poe almost couldn't believe it. "You actually have it?!"
Bubba stared at them in a mix of confusion and disbelief. "Did you really have no idea if I had the book or not when you decided to break in?"
"Rabie insisted that we wouldn't know until we tried."
"Do you know how rare this book is?" asked Bubba, eyes wide. "The chances that you would correctly pick the one critter in all of Critter Valley who personally owned a copy was extremely low. If you two had picked literally anyone else, you would have been wasting your time with a fool's errand!"
"That's what I said!" replied Poe, feeling validated. "Not that Rabie listened to me since we still ended up here."

"There's nothing I can do about it. I've tried everything, but the league won't budge."
Red didn't looked convinced. He remained seated cross legged on his side of the bed, petting Pikachu as he sulked. He didn't look up at Green, only petting Pikachu a little more roughly. The poor Pokémon was looking well and truly over the whole petting session but he hadn't run away yet. Either Red wasn't letting him leave or Pikachu wasn't trying to leave. Green sighed. "Look, I promise it's only for one night, okay? We'll even have separate rooms, so it's not like I'll ever really be alone with whoever wins." He sat down on the bed next to Red, but the other still refused to look at him. Gently, he reached over and placed his hand atop of Red's, giving it a small squeeze. Finally he stopped petting Pikachu, who took the opportunity to make a break for it to the living room, chittering angrily all the way.
Oh sure, just leave Green to deal with a pouty Red all by himself. The little traitor.
Basically, the league offers a one night stay at a luxury resort accompanied by Green as a tournament prize. Green isn't happy about it and Red deals with it by ruining the league's plans.

Summary
After the war, Duo has settled down in a small apartment by himself and is spending his days working at a store with Hilde as he figures out what's next in his life. Surprisingly, his life is only slightly different from what it was during the war as while he may have a stable, relatively safe place to live, there's still danger around every corner. Honestly, Duo hadn't really expected that to change.
What he hadn't expected was Heero being around practically every corner too. Where the hell did this guy keep coming from?!
Five times Heero was protective of Duo and one time Duo almost murdered someone for Heero.
