Starts with Glynda picking Yang up from Jail after destroying Junior's nightclub, two week before Yang's suppose to start at Beacon.
Flash back to Glynda check a rumor about Raven and rescuing Yang and Ruby from the grimm instead of Qrow. Finds Taiyang in bad shape and insist on him seeking help while she looks after the kids and cleans up the house.
Glynda sets up a visit to meet old friends allowing Yang and Ruby to make friends with a young Jaune and his family.

After saving the world from Salem and the grimm, team RWBY find themselves on hard time as huntress aren't needed and their current jobs suck.
Ruby's weapon shop went bankrupt, Yang couldn't afford the insurance to remain a professional bodyguard, Weiss couldn't handle being an accountant with her attitude and Blake cheated on Yang with Sun.
Escaping their landlady after being late on rent, they leave with Jaune to attend his sister's wedding. Their trip is hectic but bearable, thanks to Jaune who's about to take residence as a doctor. They all set their sight on Jaune unaware he already has someone.
