Right now, he’s eighteen, and he’s laying in the trunk of his beat up car on Venice Beach like a homeless person. It’s almost eighty degrees at probably two AM, his phone is dead and discarded somewhere in the car, and his sister is probably blowing it up in a panic, and he can't find it in himself to care. He just got a matching tattoo and earring with a guy he’s known for two months and just smoked so much weed he doesn’t know what to do with himself.

The way he scrunched up his nose in thought and the gentle way he bit his lower lip made Jim's heart skip a beat. It was moments like these that Jim found himself completely captivated by the little things Ryan did, each one revealing a new layer of his endearing personality.

Summary
1997, senior year!! Charlie claims it'll be her and Dean's best year yet. According to her, they'll have insanely hot partners, get accepted to the same colleges, party hard, and so much more.
Dean, on the other hand, just hopes he can actually manage to keep all his grades up this year. But just as he too believes that this year will be just as great as Charlie thinks it'll be, his whole world gets flipped upside down by the extremely obnoxious yet intriguing new kid. He is otherwise known as Castiel Novak.
Castiel turns out to be the assbutt Dean encountered just before school started at one of Sam's many "nerdy" events he always seems to get dragged into. And just when Dean thinks his life couldn't get any worse by just having to be stuck in the same classroom with that guy every day, he is proven very wrong (so he thinks) when Castiel is assigned as his new Spanish tutor.
