Summary
It’s been four years since Koby’s joined the Marines, and two years since one of the greatest power struggles in the world took place between pirates and the government. More importantly, two years since Straw-Hat Luffy became the Pirate King.
Personally, life’s been great for Koby ever since he joined. He’s climbed the ranks at record speed, ultimately obtaining the rank of a Rear-Admiral. His life-long dream of being Fleet Admiral is in sight, and it seems that everything is finally working out for him.
Until a certain pirate that Koby happens to have a major crush on comes flying into his window and asks to kidnap him. Trust a pirate to show up out of the blue and successfully ruin Koby’s life for the better. Again.In which Koby has to join the Straw-Hat pirates in order to bring down a child trafficking ring, all while being hopelessly in love with a pirate. The typical stuff, really.

Summary
Before Koby can say anything else, Usopp is up out of his seat, planting his hands on the table with a clatter and leaning into his personal space. He has to rock back onto the back legs of his chair to avoid getting an eye poked out by Usopp’s nose. A few of the diners in the pub look over to their table, but when a brawl doesn’t immediately break out, they go back to their meals and ignore them.
“Wait. What did you mean ‘At least I don’t think we did’?” Usopp asks, voice suspicious and very worried. Koby gulps.
“I-um, well…I really don’t remember anything from last night,” Koby explains nervously. “And I haven’t seen anyone else from the Strawhats around either.”
Usopp goes stock still and pale as a sheet. Koby is about to ask if he’s ok, but he makes the most distressed little noise he’s ever heard and falls back into his chair despondently.
“Koby. You do not understand how bad this is."
Koby decides to get drunk about a bad experience at an officer's ball. But what on EARTH did he do while drunk? And how are the Strawhats involved? Well, Koby and Ussop are going to find out!

Summary
Koby’s fist connects with the ground where Luffy was, and it cracks and shatters, sending pavers flying and leaving a massive crater in its wake.
He rises to his feet, shaking the dirt off his knuckles. He looks over in time to see Luffy open an umbrella to protect himself from the falling debris. It does a surprisingly good job for being so small.
“Wait what th– WHERE DID YOU EVEN GET THAT?!” Koby shouts incredulously.
Luffy looks up at the little frog themed umbrella and shrugs. “Dunno. I needed it and it was there!”
He hums and shuts the umbrella, tossing it over his shoulder. The sound of a frog croaking comes from where it landed, and the umbrella hops off. Koby’s jaw drops to the ground. Literally. And Koby screams as soon as he realizes it. His jaw shuts back with a click and he covers his mouth with both hands, looking down in fear. Is it broken? He opens and closes his mouth a few times to test.
Nope, his jaw is just fine. Only a little sore from where Luffy punched him earlier.
“Did I hit my head when I landed?” Koby mutters, bewildered.
