Summary
Ren won.
He defeated the Palace Rulers, Shido, Yaldabaoth, and finally Maruki. He should be satisfied with this outcome. However, after having a conversation with Lavenza and seeing his friends struggle with their pasts, Ren eventually can't stand knowing he can do something and choosing to do nothing. He makes a choice to turn back time for the slightest of chances that he could create a better outcome for his dear friends.
Things don't go quite according to plan, however, and he not only ends up going back to right before his journey started, but now has a sister who becomes the Trickster in his place. With the knowledge of the future, he dedicates everything he has to stopping Shido's conspiracy for good. By chance his girlfriend, Sumire Yoshizawa, remembers too, and does her best to help him through this new journey.
