Summary

“Since when do you pursue distractions?” Hakuba had asked after Kiyoomi had shared this insight when they found each other near the refreshments table. Not that Kiyoomi was partaking in anything other than beverages.
“Since Miya Osamu walked into his life,” Motoya had said, popping up out of nowhere and throwing Kiyoomi immediately to the wolves.
Kiyoomi goes to Inarizaki as the head of Prince Aran's guard, focused only on seeing his friend happily wed. He accounts for a lot of things.
He does not account for Miya Osamu.

“I have a proposition,” Kiyoomi says, clearing his throat.
Osamu raises an eyebrow, leaning forward. “I’m all ears,” he says, resting his forearms on the bench.
Kiyoomi’s gaze flicks to the bench—meticulously scrubbed—and the way Osamu’s skin presses flush against it, before snapping his gaze back to Osamu’s. “I think it would be advantageous to enter a sexual relationship,” he says brusquely. “Purely pragmatically.”
Osamu's arm slips from the bench.
Unlike several of his peers his age, Sakusa Kiyoomi abhors the idea of casual sex with strangers. It’s disgusting, no doubt unsatisfactory, and inconvenient for someone as recognisable as he is. His teammates are all out of the question as well, largely because he has no interest, but also because they exist too closely within his orbit. Enter Miya Osamu.
