You can clearly see hints of the men they'll eventually become, but there's also an absolutely delicious mix of immaturity and inexperience that really makes this fic.

The best background Clint story I've read. It goes through his early years at SHIELD with flashbacks to his childhood and background. At one point, I think my heart was actually physically aching for Clint. The author certainly knows how to pull at heartstrings. I'll be super surprised if you don't cry at least once
