Coulson returns to his office and promptly carries on with his duties. Sure, he's still dead, but he's not about to let something petty get in the way of all that paperwork...
How and why is up to the author (though I'd prefer Fury starting out just as baffled as anyone else). Feel free to work some humor into this, but I'd prefer it not be total crack.
Also no brainz eating or...rotting.
And I say any, but I do ship Phil with Clint, Steve and Fury quite readily.

Summary
Series of little one-shots and ficlets about the Avengers. There will be very little plot in these stories.
These have become rather Darcy-centric, because Darcy is a force to be reckoned with.
The title of the series comes from Rob Thomas' song "Little Wonders," which features a chorus that says "Our lives are made/In these small hours/These little wonders/These twists and turns of fate /Time falls away,/But these small hours/These small hours/Still remain."
