Summary
The White Room wasn't the first institution to pursue the creation of the "perfect" human.
History is littered with attempts. A Prussian king sought to build an army of giants by encouraging the tallest men and women to marry. During the Second World War, German troops were issued stimulants to push their bodies beyond normal limits. Governments have long searched for ways to manufacture stronger, smarter, and more obedient people.
Then there were the places that never appeared in history books.
In a country that no longer exists, rumors spoke of an institute called Cennet Adası. Built on a secluded island and isolated from the outside world, it supposedly erased identities and rebuilt children from the ground up. Officially, no such place ever existed. The island cannot be found on any modern map.
But the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.
