It is well known that Link defeated Demise, but not so much the side affects that entails.
Demise was a being that existed before Hylia herself, a being with power enough to force her into desperate measures.
To defeat Demise is alike defeating a god;
And no Hylian could ever dream to defeat a God.
(AKA, Sky becomes OP-Eldritch but literally nobody realizes this)
