Before he could open his mouth to introduce himself, Gojo’s voice rang out as he got to his feet.
“What the hell, sensei?”
Yuji’s head shot up, startled by the genuine annoyance seeping into Gojo’s tone—he had been expecting him to tease him or crack a joke. His hand froze where it was about to lift up to wave at Ieiri and Gojo, and his mouth snapped shut around a greeting.
“Satoru, sit down. Let me explain,” Yaga ordered sternly. The tension in the room was palpable, the two of them glaring at each other for a moment as Gojo’s fist tightened around the edge of the table. Shoko silently got to her feet, sighing as she left to her dorm with her food tray balanced in one hand and her textbook in the other. As her door slammed shut, everything seemed to explode.
Gojo’s jaw clenched. “Don’t try that shit with me. It’s been less than a week, and you’re already replacing him?” Yuji’s heart sank with the realization of what was going on. God, he had been so stupid.

“Hyung?” Jeongin calls softly, while Seungmin is trying to dispel the whirling giddy feeling taking over his head.
“Hm?” he hums, his nose bumping Jeongin’s. He’s right there—how embarrassing, being so obsessed with your best friend. Seungmin nuzzles their foreheads together.
“Dog ears,” he chokes out. “You’d look good in dog ears. Little puppy.”
Humiliating. He’s so down bad for Seungmin he even wants to see him in dog ears. Will it be embarrassing for Seungmin to wear the dog ears? Maybe. But no more embarrassing than the fact that Jeongin wants it bad enough to actually bring it up. Seungmin feels a sick twist of glee in his chest.
Wherein Seungmin dresses up as a dog for Jeongin, but somehow Jeongin is the one who looks stupid.
