Summary
Little Beetle Bakery, a staple in the small town it was situated in. It was incredibly popular until the old owner retired and left his grandson in charge. It wasn't anything the wolf did wrong, but after an altercation with a crazed man, the shop was shined in a negative light. People didn't like to walk into a place that was the scene of a killing. Even if it was in self-defense.
That wasn't alright with a newcomer to the town. Son of a wealthy coffee shop owner, the buck set out to create his own establishment that was more high-end than his father's chain. Now that he found himself in town, he was determined to help the wolf get his business back off the ground. And help him figure out his attraction to fluffy herbivores.

Summary
America after WW2 was a prosperous time for the nation. The economy was booming, FDR situated the USA as the dominant super power with their nuclear bombs that kept their edge against the USSR. However, not everyone prospered. Those like Legosi, an air veteran of the European Theatre, had hard times adapting to a new life, especially when they were only sixteen when they first joined.
A new life lays ahead of the now eighteen year old wolf. New York City, a place so different and so similar to the boy's old home of Chicago. It was a new start, which was the only thing he could ask for.
