Summary
Australia was once a country with Carnivores and Herbivores coexisting with the Omnivores. Humans, considered class Omnivores, came out with a strange pathogen.
During the first week, humans were infected with a virus showing cannibalistic behaviour only to their own species. Biting. Eating the flesh of ones own species. Violent behaviour. It baffled scientists at it's cause, wondering what it is.
Animals however, were invisible to the infected Omnivores. Humans were ignoring the Herbivores and Carnivores.
Until, they too got infected. Somehow they did. Whatever caused it, they can see both human and animal as their prey. Even if their prey are carnivores.
The army lost control within the first month. Airports shut down in areas nearby, while flights didn't dare to go back to Australia. No other country was willing to take Refugees. But one showed compassion and opened it's doors.
One female scientist in the military made it a goal to find a solution before things get bad.

Summary

The one thing Leano wanted for her son was that he wouldn't suffer like she did, feeling ashamed of her hybrid features, Legoshi's mom had ended her own life one night when he couldn't sleep, and after hearing all of it, it left him traumatized. But as much as Leano didn't want it to happen to him even after her death, only wanting her son to grow up and live a normal life, he suffered a similar fate like her.
Legoshi unfortunately began developing features making him look like his Grandfather, Gosha, a Komodo Dragon, and he's felt ashamed of himself every day after they changed him. Often being shunned by society and other people for him being so strange, and he often felt alone and ashamed for being so different.
When he went to Cherryton Academy, he didn't expect much to change, Even if he did good in school and had some friends, and was in the Drama Club, Legoshi never felt like he could get over his guilt and shame for what he is. But when a student named Tem is murdered, and he meets a Rabbit named Haru, Legoshi begins to meet people who can actually help him, and with the help of a certain security guard who understands his pain, Legoshi may find a way to accept his place in this world as a hybrid.
